Abstract
As in the majority of ophthalmic subspecialties, standard diagnostic and treatment strategies within ophthalmic oncology change frequently as new studies elucidate the success or failure of previous approaches to patient care. Methods of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of retinoblastoma change even more frequently than for any other benign or malignant intraocular lesion managed by ophthalmic oncologists.
