Abstract
Multilayered hydroxyapatite (HA) crystals were chemically synthesized by using carboxyl functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) as a matrix and characterized by various physico-chemical techniques. The results showed that MWNTs functionalized with -COOH group form an efficient matrix for the growth of HA crystals.
