    Abstract

Over the past decade, the utilization of organs from older and other donors with compromised physiology has become commonplace. This has been achieved with satisfactory results. There has been significant progress in the assessment and resuscitation of expanded criteria organs. This chapter discusses the selection of donors for both thoracic and abdominal organ transplantation.
