Abstract

The goal of a rehabilitation program for patients with neurosurgical conditions is to help each individual return to the highest level of function, independence and quality of life. This team approach enhances the individual patient and family treatment plan. The treatment recommendations address both the physical and psychological (mental) aspects that patients may experience with a neurosurgical diagnosis. Neuro-rehab is available for many different diagnoses such as stroke, subdural hematoma (SDH), intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), aneurysm, brain tumor, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis (MS), traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI) and other neurologic conditions.
