Abstract
The proteomics analysis of All-trans-Retinoic Acid (ATRA) treated and untreated Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL) cells to identify differentially expresses proteins was investigated. A site-specific tagging method with LC/MS/MS and matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) was employed to study differential protein expression in APL cell line in an attempt to identify molecular markers carrying a clinical relevance. The Protein Prospector database was used to perform Protein identification. The proteins with functions related to cell proliferations, cell cycle apoptosis, tumor suppression, and several proteins with unknown functions were revealed by LC/MS/MS and MALDI-TOF-MS analyses.
