Abstract
The clinical and histologic findings in 3 patients with primary malignant melanoma of the penis are presented, increasing the number of reported cases in the literature to 33. The location of the lesions were varied with one arising on the undersurface of the foreskin, another on the ventral surface of the penile shaft near a hypospadiac urethral meatus, and the other from a melanotic freckle of Hutchinson on the glans. One patient has survived twelve and one-half years following local excision and pelvic perfusion.
