Abstract

The annual Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy (Pittcon) was held in Orlando, FL, USA, 28 February - 5 March 2010. As the world's premier conference and exposition on laboratory and analytical science, Pittcon attracts many thousands of attendees with a broad range of backgrounds, including industry, academia and government from all over the world. This review selectively covers state-of-the-art advances and current trends in the major research fields of analytical chemistry.
