Abstract
Serial observations of clinic and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring are presented for a 60-year-old woman whose arterial blood pressure was unaffected by removal of a functioning parathyroid adenoma. A pattern of “white coat hypertension” first detected 8 years ago remains unchanged to the present.
