Abstract

A framework to better enable rapid knowledge exchanges and collaboration is discussed by using connexions is discussed. Peer review ensures that published works are verified as legitimate by the most knowledgeable professionals in a given field. Publishers recruit peers in a given discipline without pay which gives the peer reviewers recognition and rewards through the third party institutions with which they are affiliated. Although this is a rigorous process, the benefit is that the information can be trusted.
