Abstract
An integrated neuroinformatics system for processing, archiving, and analyzing 3-D neuronal images obtained from high resolution optical microscopy is presented. The system is specifically called NeuronIQ. The sample can be either in vitro brain tissue or in vivo live animals. A key block in the system is the visualization module that provides researchers with a way to examine the nueronal features of both the raw and processed images in three dimensions.
