Abstract
The recent advancements in materials science approaches have prompted a rapid progress in the preparation of core-shell nanostructures with tailored surface characteristics, namely core-shell nanoparticles and core-shell nanofibers, thus opening new perspectives in their use for diversified applications. This book presents the state-of-the-art research on the design and fabrication of core-shell nanostructured systems for the smart delivery of therapeutic and imaging agents.
