Abstract

•Z-codes identified transcatheter aortic valve replacement patients associated with higher cardiovascular risk.•Mortality was similar, but morbidity burden differed by Z-code status.•Findings support integrating social determinants of health data into transcatheter aortic valve replacement risk stratification.
