Abstract

An error was introduced in the ‘Clinical and laboratory tests to assess the risk of bleeding and thrombosis – Recommendations’ section of this article. Recommendation #4 should state: hemoglobin transfusion trigger of 7 g/dl not 7 mg/dl. Bottom of page 727 for “Hemoglobin targets”, again 7 mg/dl should be changed to 7 g/dl and 9 mg/dl should be changed to 9 g/dl. The authors apologize for any inconvenience caused.
