Abstract
We compute the energy levels of a two-dimensional screened hydrogenic donor when a constant magnetic field is applied. In order to describe the screening of the Coulomb field we introduce a Yukawa potential. With the help of a mixed-basis variational method, as well as the shifted 1/N method, we calculate the binding energies of the 1S,2P- and 3D- ground states and we show how they depend on the screening strength.
