Abstract
A new diterpene glycoside 1 was isolated from the whole plant of Aster homochlamydeus Hand-mazz (Compositae), along with four known diterpene glycosides 2-5. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, MS, IR, NMR and X-ray crystallographic analyisis. Antibacterial activity of compounds 1-5 was observed.
