Correction to: Communications Engineeringhttps://doi.org/10.1038/s44172-024-00319-9, published online 25 November 2024 In the version of the article initially published, the images of the merged IF panels in Fig. 6c (the far-right images on the top and bottom row) were inadvertently switched and have now been corrected in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
