Abstract
The past decade has witnessed significant multidisciplinary, prospective, clinical, and biologic studies of retinoblastoma. The Children’s Oncology Group (COG) has successfully opened five clinical trials. These include adjuvant therapy for histopathologic risk factors and treatment of Group B, Group C/D, and extraocular retinoblastoma. More recently, a multi-institutional feasibility study of intra-arterial chemotherapy given in the ophthalmic artery of children with retinoblastoma has been initiated.
