Abstract
The past decade has witnessed significant multidisciplinary, prospective, clinical, and biological studies of retinoblastoma. The Children's Oncology Group (COG) has successfully opened 6 clinical trials. These include adjuvant therapy for histopathologic risk factors and treatment of Group B, Group C/D, and extraocular retinoblastoma. More recently, a multi-institutional study of combined intravitreal and systemic chemotherapy for children with retinoblastoma has been initiated.
