Personal profile
Dr. Hoopes completed her medical training at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC in 2017. She then completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas where she earned several honors including Highest CREOG Score, Resident Teaching Award, the Eugene Toy Award, and the Sherilyn A. Gordon Memorial Award. She oversees 4th year rotating electives and the wellness & mentorship curriculum for the residency program and is core faculty for the Houston Methodist Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.
Research interests
Dr. Hoopes’ research interest include medical education, burnout and moral distress, obstetric care, contraceptive care, and sexual function.
