Sapna Legha, MD, FACC

Sapna Legha, MD, FACC, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist who specializes in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant treatment options at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. She has trained at some of the nation’s premier medical institutions.

Legha earned her medical degree from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Punjab, India and completed an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She also completed an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Legha is board-certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and the National Board of Echocardiography.

She has extensive training in advanced heart failure, cardiovascular disease, cardiac amyloidosis, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplant.
