Dr. McCulloch is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with sub-specialty expertise in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He graduated from Harvard College with Honors. He graduated at the top of his class from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He returned to Harvard to complete his residency, and then completed a year of fellowship-training in sports medicine and cartilage restoration at Rush Medical Center in Chicago. He was an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine for three years before joining the Houston Methodist Hospital staff. He is also an assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University.
Research interests
Dr. McCulloch is engaged in clinical and laboratory research in the field of sports medicine. His interests include articular cartilage injury and repair, ligament and tendon healing and joint stability.
