Dr. Al-Saadi received his medical degree from the University of Baghdad-College of Medicine, Baghdad, Iraq. He completed his internship at Baylor College of Medicine and residency in Internal Medicine at Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Al-Saadi was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and then completed his fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Al-Saadi received a doctorate degree in education and leadership in health sciences from the University of Houston. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Currently, he is Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and the Institute of Academic Medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Texas A & M College of Medicine.
Research interests
Dr. Al-Saadi's areas of interest include right ventricular failure, shock and multiorgan failure, teaching in the ICU, leadership in the ICU, and bedside ultrasound use in critically ill patients.
