Dr. Gonzalez received her MD degree from Ponce Health Sciences University in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 2009. After completing a pathology residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2013, she completed an oncologic surgical pathology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2014. Dr. Gonzalez joined the faculty at Houston Methodist in the Department of Pathology and Genomic Medicine in 2022. Dr. Gonzalez is a general surgical pathologist with interests including oncologic surgical pathology and gynecologic pathology.
