Dr. Luping Huang earned her MD in Southeast University School of Medicine and Ph.D. in Tokushima University School of Medicine. She held faculty appointments at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio before becoming a member of Houston Methodist Research Institute in 2018.
Research interests
Dr. Huang’s research interests are to determine the underlying mechanisms of TDRD1in prostate cancer and to develop a mouse monoclonal antibody that recognizes human TDRD1 protein with exceptional specificity and sensitivity which may contribute to diagnosis and prognosis of prostate cancer, she also interest to develop immunotherapy drugs and CAR-T which may benefit for prostate cancer treatment in the future.
