Kanval Shah, MD

Dr. Kanval Shah, MD is a board-certified and fellowship trained non-invasive cardiologist at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. Dr. Shah completed his internal medicine residency at University of Massachusetts-Baystate Medical Center. He went on to complete his cardiovascular disease fellowship from Mount Sinai Heart at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York.

In addition to his cardiovascular disease fellowship training, Dr. Shah is board-certified in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac computed tomography (CT) and vascular medicine. Additionally, he is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Cardiology affiliated with the Houston Methodist Academic Institute.

Dr. Shah is passionate about incorporating multi-modality cardiac imaging to provide tailored clinical cardiovascular care. He loves getting to know his patients and forming long-term relationships.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling and playing tennis.
