Dr. Rogers received his MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2019. He then completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency and fellowship training in hematopathology and clinical informatics at Houston Methodist Hospital. Upon completion, he was appointed as staff pathologist and is now an assistant professor at Houston Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Rogers’s clinical focus is on informatics, analytics, and workflow optimization. He is involved in large clinical projects including helping to manage medical hematology, actively participating in and leading aspects of the transition to EPIC Beaker, and digital pathology implementation. Dr. Rogers is a member of the Collage of American Pathologists, Academy of Clinical Laboratory Physicians and Scientists, Association of Pathology Informatics, and the Digital Pathology Association.
Research interests
Dr. Rogers’s research interests focus on the use of data to improve laboratory and hospital operations and digital pathology implementation and management.
