Dr. Lai received her first faculty appointment in 1996 as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While at Baylor, she also held a dual appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Lai joined Methodist in 2006.
Research interests
Dr. Lai's research focuses on evaluation and novel treatments for sleep disorders and range of motion disorders after stroke and traumatic brain injury.
