Dr. Nabi is a cardiologist at the Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He has special interests in preventative and general cardiology, stress testing, cardiac CT, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Nabi is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Research interests
Dr. Nabi´s current research is studying optimal risk stratification of emergency room patients using artery calcium scoring, CT angiography, and nuclear cardiology. Resulting data from these studies will be used to develop accurate and cost effective imaging algorithms for triaging relatively low risk patients with chest pain.
