Charu Bavare is a vascular surgeon in the CV Surgery department in the Methodist Debakey Heart and Vascular Center at Houston Methodist Hospital since 2016. He completed his general surgery and vascular surgery training at Houston Methodist. He has a varied interest in all areas of vascular surgery with a special focus on Complex Aortic aneurysm repair with fenestrated endografts, open aortic surgery, Thoracic outlet syndrome, Nutcracker syndrome, trans carotid stenting, dialysis access. He is actively involved in the Vascular fellowship and integrated vascular residency programs at HMH. He is currently focusing on Robotic Vascular Surgery to bring the DaVinci Xi robot platform to perform trans-thoracic and intra-abdominal vascular procedures. He is involved in multiple clinical trials in the department of vascular surgery.
