Dr. Ni received her medical and doctoral degrees from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where she also completed her residency in Internal Medicine. She went on to complete a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by advanced clinical and research fellowship training in Transplant Infectious Diseases at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
Research interests
Her research focuses on understanding the interactions between host immune responses and pathogens with the goal of developing individualized diagnostics and host-directed therapies for infectious diseases.
