Dr. Zainab is an anesthesiologist at The Methodist Hospital where she is also an intensivist in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Prior to joining Methodist in 2006, she was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
Research interests
Dr. Zainab´s research is focused on investigations of the underlying pathological processes in critical care medicine, specifically with regards to the development of insulin resistance and hyperglycemia in non-diabetic patients.
